Trauma Therapy in Riverside, California
Trauma Doesn't Always Look Like Trauma
If you've ever wondered why you feel anxious, emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or stuck—even though life "looks fine" on the outside—your nervous system may still be carrying the effects of past experiences. Healing is possible.
Trauma isn't always a single catastrophic event. Sometimes it develops slowly through years of feeling unsafe, unseen, criticized, emotionally overwhelmed, or constantly needing to stay on guard. Many people don't realize that experiences such as childhood emotional neglect, difficult relationships, medical trauma, grief, betrayal, immigration experiences, or growing up in unpredictable environments can all affect the nervous system long after the event has passed.

Why Brainspotting Became Part of My Practice
I specialize in Brainspotting because I know first-hand how powerful it can be.
As a Brainspotting client myself, I was able to access and process experiences that talk therapy alone couldn’t fully reach. That personal experience inspired me to pursue formal training so I could offer this approach to my own clients. It has had a profound impact on my life, and I’m honored to bring it into my work with others.
What is Brainspotting?
Brainspotting is a gentle, trauma-focused therapy that helps access and process experiences that may be stored deep within the brain and nervous system. While traditional talk therapy is incredibly valuable, sometimes painful experiences can remain "stuck," even when you understand them logically.
Brainspotting works by helping your brain and body process those experiences in a way that supports healing and nervous system regulation. Many clients describe feeling a greater sense of relief, calm, and emotional freedom over time.
Why I Use Brainspotting
As part of my trauma therapy practice in Riverside, California, I integrate Brainspotting when it's clinically appropriate and aligned with each client's goals. I chose to incorporate Brainspotting into my practice because I've seen how powerful it can be for people healing from trauma, anxiety, and overwhelming life experiences. It offers another pathway to healing—especially when talking about a problem alone doesn't seem to create lasting change.
Every client is different, so Brainspotting is never something I rush into. Together, we'll decide which approaches feel most supportive for your unique needs, comfort level, and goals.
